Keeping the Momentum Going with the 4th Annual Kelson Group Resident's Food Drive.
The 4th Annual Kelson Group Resident's Food Drive will take place on June 17th. In keeping with tradition, Kelson Group has committed to donating a dollar for every pound of food collected - this can really add up! We are proud to announce that last year 4,396 pounds of non-perishable food items were donated, and Kelson Group proudly wrote a cheque for $4,396! These funds were distributed to food banks across B.C. and Alberta.
Can we beat last year's goal?!?

Being involved in an event like this where Kelson Group residents and staff work together to strive for hunger-free communities makes us all proud of what we can accomplish together. Food banks are essential to assist with feeding those who struggle accessing a consistent source of food and now, more than ever, are in need of donations. In a world where hunger still permeates our neighbourhoods, schools, workplaces, and communities at large, we could not think of a better area to support. We know a seemingly small donation can have a big impact on others.
This year, drop off non-perishable food items on Wednesday, June 17th. Donation boxes will be located in the main lobby or building entrance of all Kelson Group apartment buildings. Our building management teams will collect the food and in turn do a delivery to local food banks.
We truly appreciate our residents' support as we tackle hunger in our communities together. Let's keep the momentum going and continue to grow this meaningful event for all of us by having another successful drive and exceeding last year's donations.
