Kelson Group Buildings Reach New Heights

Posted On Mar 11, 2019

B.C.: For 40+ years, Kelson Group has primarily focused its efforts in the areas of property management with the goal to provide apartments to help residents live better. The company continues its excellence in the area of property management, but continues its evolution taking on a significant role in the area of property development.

"For many years, our strategy as a company was to purchase buildings, rent and hold for the long term," says Jason Fawcett, Vice President of Operations for Kelson Group. "We would work with an apartment building owner to facilitate the purchase to add to our portfolio of apartments for rent if it made good economic sense. Today, we continue the acquisition of already developed apartment buildings, but now we have also moved into the actual development and construction of our own buildings, which has been a successful venture for our company so far."

Kelson Group has previously built:

- Wellesley Court Apartments in Abbotsford in 2014 with 102 suites

- Lexington Court Apartments in Langley in 2016 with 105 suites

- Peterson Landing Apartments in Kamloops in 2018 with 110 suites

The company is currently in the construction phase of two new projects; Legacy Square at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, and Panorama Crossing in the heart of the Panorama neighbourhood in Surrey, and both projects are on schedule to open in the second half of 2019.

Legacy Square Updates

This five-storey, 77 suite multi-family development is being built in the heart of the TRU Campus.  The company is close to finishing the framing of Legacy Square apartments and are working toward completion for resident move-in by Fall 2019.

"We are very pleased with the progress," says Fawcett. "We are hopeful our team will be moving new residents in for the Fall of 2019 and we invite people to sign up for our email alerts and to join the wait list at www.legacysquare.ca."

Panorama Crossing Updates

Located in the bustling neighbourhood of Panorama in Surrey is Panorama Crossing, a 106-suite, 4 storey building just steps away from shopping, entertainment, and parks. This development is also seeing incredible progress with all four storeys framed and the roof of the development in place as of early February.

"Surrey is a thriving city with so many new residents moving to the area each month," says Fawcett. "Our team is excited to add another signature Kelson Group building in the Lower Mainland to provide apartments to help residents live better. This building is set to welcome new families to our Kelson community by Fall 2019, and we also invite people to sign up for email alerts and to join our waiting list at www.panoramacrossing.ca today."
