A Must-See This Holiday Season in Edmonton: 'A Christmas Carol' at the Maclab Theatre
Don't be a scrooge! Stop by the Maclab Theatre before December 23 to catch a performance of A Christmas Carol. Now in its 17th season, this yuletide performance-produced by the not-for-profit Citadel Theatre-is a beloved annual tradition of many Edmonton locals. The story of Ebenezer Scrooge comes to life on the stage as he takes a journey through his own life to gain a little holiday cheer.
Prices start in the $25-30 range and go up to about $115, depending on where you want to sit. There really isn't a bad seat in the house, with beautiful acoustics and seating arrangements allowing all to enjoy no matter where the seat. You can pre-purchase your tickets online to beat the crowds, as some performances do sell out.
Note that the performance isn't suitable for the little guys under 7, so if you have little ones you might want to plan on a date night, which is never a bad idea! And you won't be far from home, as Maclab Theatre is just a stone's throw from our Edmonton apartments for rent.
